You can just invent your own barcode numbers (because they won't have to be totally original), and generate your own images for them or else get a company like <a href="http://www.barcodes.co.nz">Barcodes Limited</a> to do that for you (they can also provide barcode labels for you if you need them). <a href="http://www.barcodeinfo.org/?p=55">Code-128 or Code-39 barcodes </a>are widely used for internal monitoring of stock, and the images can be read by almost any barcode scanner.
